Woodlawn Trustees announced the opening of 718 E. 11th Street, the 10th inexpensive housing renovation.
Under the grant, Woodlawn Trustees will renovate 20 vacant residences to present housing for individuals and family members at 80% of the location median cash flow less than a program introduced by Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki.
The dwelling has been renovated, with direct-paint remediation, new windows, new flooring, a new roof, up to date lavatory w/ laundry amenities on the next floor, and a renovated kitchen area. The property has a residing area, eating area, kitchen, three bedrooms, and one particular tub with laundry facilities and a backyard deck.
The renovations were being done by the services personnel of Woodlawn Trustees, and TAG Development, a minority-owned contractor.
Woodlawn Trustees has been a provider of very affordable rental housing in the Town of Wilmington given that the early 1900’s with housing at the freshly built Flats on Union Avenue, and around 100 units on the East Side of Wilmington.
