While the summer is headed toward a closure, the work continues at various construction sites throughout the city.

In this installment of our Construction Roundup photography series we take a look at development sites located in Downtown Columbus, Franklinton, Harrison West, Upper Arlington, at the campus of The Ohio State University, Weinland Park and Italian Village.

Some of the most transformative changes can be found on Lane Avenue where not only is Upper Arlington gaining its tallest (11 stories) building within the suburb’s city limits, but OSU is rapidly building out the 24 acre “Innovation District” that will be home to over a half million square feet of high tech light industrial, research, event space and workforce housing once completed.

Franklinton is another neighborhood that has undergone rapid change over the past few years with both the large scale development at Gravity 2.0 just west of the railroad tracks and the first phase of The Peninsula to the east of the elevated railroad.
