Developer Hall Group has topped out construction on its new $500 million high-rise complex in Frisco.
The three-tower development totals about 1 million square feet and is located in the Hall Park mixed-use project at Gaylord and Warren parkways. It’s the largest mixed-use development under construction in Frisco.
The developer is building a 16-story office tower, 224-room boutique hotel and 19-story, 214-unit residential building as the next phase of the 162-acre Hall Park.
The three new buildings are scheduled to open late next year and surround a 5.7-acre park.
“The development of this building, Kaleidoscope Park, and the neighboring towers under construction is a turning point in our long-term vision for Hall Park, transforming it from a singular office focus into a dynamic, urban-like, mixed-use community,” said Hall Group president Don Braun in a statement.
The tower campus replaced low-rise office buildings, which were previously constructed at Hall Park.
The Hall Park buildings and new park were designed by Dallas’ HKS, Merriman Anderson Architects, WDG Architecture and OJB Landscape Architecture. Andres Construction and Austin Commercial are general contractors on the project.
Construction started on the project last year in what’s planned as a multibillion-dollar redevelopment of Hall Park.
The development was started in the 1990s and includes more than 2 million square feet of offices in more than a dozen buildings. It’s Frisco’s largest office employment center with more than 10,000 workers.
