It seems the “Hotel Gizelle” remodel is coming along quite nicely.
On Friday, September 22, Gizelle Bryant returned to Instagram to provide a quick update on her ambitious home renovation. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member has spent more than three years updating the beautiful Maryland property, which she purchased for $900,000 in 2019.
Gizelle spoke about the extensive remodel during an October 2021 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, confirming she and her daughters were residing in the home despite its incompletion: “I actually live in my house, and it’s 95 percent done,” she said.
In late August, the RHOP mom announced she added a couple more projects to her to-do list — and they weren’t exactly small. Gizelle posted a video that showed her oldest daughter’s bathroom completely empty and gutted with the exception of a few tools and plastic tarps. The mother of three said she decided to remodel the space over the summer, shortly after her daughter Grace Bryant left home to begin her freshmen year at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.

“So, this is what you do when your kids go to college … you re-do their room,” Gizelle said in the August 30 video. “When I say re-do, I mean you gut the bathroom — which is what’s happening here.”
Gizelle highlighted some of the construction that was taking place and shared her plans to expand the bathroom. “It’s gonna be so beautiful. I got all this marble coming!”
Grace had an amusing reaction to the gut renovation, insisting the project was unnecessary.
“Where are my things,” she commented on the post. “[You] know I have to come back right[?]”
Well, it appears the bathroom might be done before Thanksgiving break.

“OK, progress on Grace’s bathroom,” Gizelle said in an Instagram Story, which revealed the big additions to the washroom. The RHOP OG focused on the marble floors, before explaining where the fixtures and appliances would be installed.
“So, beautiful floors — beautiful, gorgeous floors,” she continued before she pointed to a corner. “The toilet is going right here, in that area. There will be a big vanity going across this entire wall… I’m going to put some sconces lights up.”
She then showcased the massive new shower that complimented the dark marble floors.
“New shower, looking amaze,” she added while providing a close-up of the wall tiles. “Yeah, almost there.”
Gizelle, who is also renovating Grace’s bedroom, currently lives in the home with her teenage twin daughters, Adore and Angel, who recently began their senior year of high school. If the girls follow in their big sister’s footsteps and leave home for college, it’s safe to assume “Hotel Gizelle” will see more changes this time next year.
