Khloé’s interior designer, the highly esteemed Martyn Lawrence Bullard, used a rarely-seen technique known as tenting to drape sheer linen fabric across the socialite’s ceilings and walls. Martyn’s technique causes the entire room to look like an uber-luxurious white linen tent.

Interior design experts love the dramatic effect Martyn’s living room wall idea has on Khloé’s space. Elizabeth Grace, an interior designer at Dream Home Making, states: ‘Tented interiors, with their ethereal drapes suspended gracefully from the ceiling, have an uncanny ability to transport us to a world of sheer opulence and tranquility.’

Elizabeth landed her first job as an intern with a leading firm in New York City, learning from some of the city’s top designers. She currently works as an interior designer for both residential and commercial clients.
She continues, ‘Tented interiors evoke a sense of wonder and sophistication
that transcends the ordinary. The fabric-draped ceiling imparts an immediate sense of drama, transforming an ordinary room into a captivating sanctuary. It creates a unique visual impact that is both awe-inspiring and soothing.’
Jennifer Eber, digital editor at Homes & Gardens adds, ‘Fabric draped across the ceilings and walls of a space creates an almost otherworldly effect. The look is completely different from what we expect to see in a typical Los Angeles living room. The sense of surprise created by this design choice transports us.’

‘In a darker color palette the tented interior might feel heavy and overwhelming.’ adds Jennifer. ‘However, the white keeps it light, airy, and sleek.’
